Oatmeal Brownies with honey, not sugar

Here's a super tasty treat that is also far more healthy that the typical brownie!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk (nonfat, whole, almond, soy, whatever you like)
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/3 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon flax seed (optional)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (at least)
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

Step 1 - Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 2 - Mix all ingredients

Combine everything into a large mixing bowl and stir.

Step 3 - Pour into baking dish

Place into a 9x13 baking dish

Step 4 - Bake for 40 minutes

Bake for 40 minutes or until a knife comes out cleanly.
